Why do SEC schools have tennis and golf teams and what not but not wrestling or soccer? Both are so much better to watch and would get to much more fan support.

LSU used to have a program with all americans pretty regular.... then title IX happened

hard to recruit back then, there wasnt very much local high school wrestling... just wasnt very popular, by the late 80's there was only 5 programs in the SEC and auburn dropped theirs and the rest of the conference followed suit
