He was drafted by just about any other competent NFL franchise that was stable and could actually coach and groom a young quarterback?

He did sit on the sideline....appears he did not learn. I don't see what value there would be in watching again.

Going to be blasted for this, but he equals Matt Ryans success if he is put in the same situation that Matt Ryan was put in last year.

Blast away.

He needs to sit at least 3 years before making a start. After watching him play yesterday, I doubt he even knows the playbook.

Yes,he seems like the type who got his big contract and has nothing left to accomplish in his mind. He's not driving to be better anymore.

His weight makes his footwork horrible. Seriously if the guy would play at 250 I think he would be a pretty damn good QB. But at 275 (MAYBE) he moves to slow.

He's not intelligent enough to be successful against NFL defenses.

i don't know about matt ryan succcess but he's definitly much better in a similar situation.

i also don't think learning is his problem, it seems to be footwork and accuracy. he actually seems to have gotten less accurate since he left lsu.

Nothing personal. It's just that NFL defenses are too complex for most QB's to understand. The most successful QB's are students of the game. Jamarcus is no student.

i know the raiders are a disfunctional organization but they do have some talent this year. they have a solid running game that is helpful to a young QB. as a raiders fan i support jamarcus, im pulling for him to improve. the concern with him is accuracy.
