All agreed, he's close, but probably not top 10.

He is every bit of a top 10 player in the league. He was easily top 5 this season.

Would you have Kobe in your current top 10?

No, same with Derick Rose or Rondo. All 3 have missed way too much time to make a solid ranking on.

"The other team didn't win, we lost" I hear a ton.

For a more specific one, I'd go with how Miles threw 1/9

We were talking about how they mentioned Blake Griffin as a top 10 player during the game today. All agreed, he's close, but probably not top 10.

What, all agreed that he's not top 10?

That's one group I do not want to discuss basketball with

Had a guy at a bar in Houston last weekend tell me that U of H had a better sports program than LSU. He really believed himself to. I was shocked at the horrible points he made.

2 and 3 star recruits are better than 5 star recruits.

This one kills me.

They don't understand simple math.

2,000 3 and 2 stars.

Like 50 5 stars.

So 40 2 and 3 stars become incredible players out of this class and only 20 5 stars!

Still 40/2,000 or 2%

OR

20/50 or 40%

BUT NO! MORE 2 and 3 STARS ARE SUCCESSFUL!

Heard this on a local call in show after the Capital One Bowl in 2005. "I don't know what the big deal is with Nick Saban. He just won with DiNardo's players." The host hung up on the guy.

Colin Cowherd, who I generally like, called Charlie Weis an underrated coach during his tenure at Florida. I almost wrecked my car in astonishment.
