I'd like to emphasize that if we're serious about taking back the Ryder Cup, we need to have one at TPC Scottsdale.

Played this course 3 years ago right before the tourney…#16 with the stands was incredible…fun course.
Oh, not a Ryder Cup Course. They need to bring it back to Valhalla or Jacks Place.

Well, the Ryder Cup is played in October…the course goes through the sun and heat and I am sure it gets beat up during the summer. Plus, is it still hot as balls during that time in Scottsdale?
It is not one of those "Championship" type courses (could you see this course hosting a PGA or US Open?)…it is a resort course.

I've always thought Howell Park would be a good Ryder Cup course. Those euros wouldn't know what to do when play is halted for a police chase on Winbourne.

I've got a great Howell story. I was assistant there and I heard this name Albert Crews. He ended up being on big break swinging cross handed. Dude came out and said, "I heard you been taking all my friends money". I said Yep. He challenged me to play with a burrowed set and no shoes right then. Back 9. I shot 32 and got waxed. He shot 28. Fricking sick.
