Um, disagree.

The only team in the East MIA is even remotely concerned about is BKN, IMO.

I'd throw in Toronto and Charlotte. Miami wants no part of Big Al.

Whatcha think?
i am always 100% wrong whenever I feel a certain way in situations that involve the Magic.

- thought we'd spank the rockets in the finals

- As a little kid I thought no way Shaq would leave us

- thought for sure TMac & GH combo would bring us a couple titles

- thought the Dwight situation was gonna turn out alright

- absolutely hated the Dwight trade....thought we got screwed royally (turning out to be one of the best "superstar" trades ever)

- didn't like the Oladipo pick last year

Whole bunch more I can't even think about right now.

Moral of the story......I'm not gonna question RH....I'm just going with the flow and gonna enjoy the ride. Future looks bright & I'm very patient.

Eta: hated the JJ Redick pick....turned out alright, as he was a great professional and one of my favorite players

Wanted to pick Okafor over Dwight

Thought Fran Vazquez was gonna finally come over a couple years ago......WRONG

Yeah, I'm like Peej when it comes to the Magic

UF, I got two dream scenarios.
1: Andrew Wiggins and Tyler Ennis.
2: Dante Exum (I LOVE him) and Rodney Hood.

Y'all giving up the idea of Oladipo becoming a PG?

I'm not a big fan of Hood or Ennis in the lottery.

We're the same person.

Only difference is I KNEW Shaq was gonna screw us, and I loved the Victor Oladipo pick.

Other than that, agree. So we'll see.

Now that the Bulls might get the 3, that opens for the door for the Nets to clip Indiana in the 2nd round.

the Hawks are probably the least of Miami's concerns amongst the East playoff teams. I don't think it'd be much of a problem for em.

Heat could cake walk through either of those teams.

The only threat to the Heat in the east is still the Pacers.

Heat will win the next 2 games and Pacers will lose to OKC and beat Orlando.

EDIT: I thought your comment was so funny that I went and did some research.

The Heat havent lost to the Charlotte Bobcats or the Toronto Raptors since 2010.

Let that sink in for a second.

Last years Heat team sure. I didn't say either of them would beat the Heat, but they could cause them issues.

Or they could lose to Wizards

I won't because that has absolutely zero barring on this years playoffs. The Raptors have missed the playoffs for like 7 years in a row and the Bobcats were the laughing stock of the league.

The Raptors have been playing nearly .700 basketball since the Rudy Gay trade, which gave them some quality pieces to surround guys like Derozen and Lowry.

The Bobcats signed Big Al this offseason. Again making your 2010 comment meaningless. Al Jefferson is the type of guy who gives Miami problems because of their lack of size. In Lebron's 61 point game Big Al had something like 35 and 15. He is problem for Miami.

I realize it is blasphemy to some of y'all to say that someone could give Miami problems, but this isn't last years Miami team that ripped off a 25 game win streak. This is a Miami team with a lackluster bench and aging role players that is limping into the playoffs with a .500 record since March 1st.

Miami has had every opportunity in the world the last couple of weeks to seize home court from the Pacers, but haven't been able to do it. That should tell you something about this team right now.

What the Heat did tonight was brilliant. By losing to Atlanta, they made sure one of the hottest teams in the NBA, the Knicks, stays home.

It's chess, not checkers.

yep

Getting the 2 seed may be a blessing in disguise, especially for Miami.

Heat don't really care where they end up. They continue to rest people every game and LeBron has played less minutes than lastyear and the second fewest minutes of his entire career, including his rookie season.

The Heat essentially know they will beat whoever they play if they are healthy, so that is all they care about. They will be a bit rusty once their entire lineup is in (including wade) and they will use the first round to work out the kinks and get better as the playoffs go on, especially considering fatigue won't be a factor. It is a logical smart plan by the heat imo.

Yeah, because if Chicago is the 3, they can't beat Miami.

If Miami is the 1 and Brooklyn advance to the 2nd round as the 5 seed, then the Nets have a pretty good chance to make it a long series and a small to decent chance of beating the Heat. Bulls have a slim to none chance of beating the Heat.
