I am aware. But it's at Wimbledon, so kindly eat a dick.

That makes sense. Let’s post gifs from other tournaments in the Wimbledon thread. You’d think such a big Nadal but boy would notice Serena wasn’t wearing white.

Was wondering about something today - how many Wimbledon players each year do you suppose qualify, lose their first match, and never qualify again? Is it sometimes 0? Is it 1 or 2? As many as 6 or 7 depending on the year? I'm genuinely curious.

This would go for all majors - are there any good books about the tier of professional tennis where players are on the satellite tours and the lives that this level of players lead while chasing their dreams? Kind of a "Bull Durham" but for pro tennis?

Perhaps my last post wasn't clear.

It was at Wimbledon...the same courts this tournament is played.

So, kindly eat a dick.

Also, what in the world do Nadal and Serena's absence of white have to do with each other? Were you just trying to make a Nadal crack and went with it without giving any thought to whether it made any goddamn sense?

It appears so.

Additionally, I started the thread. And so I will start it with whatever images I damn well please.

If you don't like, you can peruse another thread, or go back to eating erect dicks.

Fantastic question. I'm gonna say roughly 5 per major.

This absolutely needs to be done. If done right, it could be a fascinating read.

So, I've been busy and haven't been paying close attention. Has it just never stopped raining?

I think they got most of day one in, yesterday was mostly a washout other than the two main courts, and today has been on and off. Fortunately, I think they have the middle Sunday this year. But, there are probabaly going to be people still playing first round matches tomorrow and then have to play all weekend.

There’s a book calling “Chasing Points” by Gregory Howe that sounds similar to what you’re looking for. He was a 34 year old teacher who decided to try and revive his tennis career in an attempt to get an ATP point. Very interesting read.

ESPN is reporting that Tiafoe's opponent, Yibing Wu, fainted after motioning to his heart and asking for medical attention. Hope the dude is OK.

These days you can follow a lot of these dudes on IG. Sometimes they even post their checks for a few hundred bucks or whatever. Honestly I don’t know how most of them are able to keep doing it.

Thompson played really well today. He looked like Stefan Edberg out there. He just doesn't have a great return and had one or two DFs at bad times. Novak was clutch, especially on serve.

Shitepants just won 10-8 in the fifth set breaker against Thiem. It was nice to see him show some class right after the win complimenting Thiem instead of acting a fool. He is definitely banging Badosa, she was sitting next to his pops.

Shelton advances, Korda is in trouble.

Tiafoe was nails in that US Open. I would love nothing more for an American to somehow win a (men's) Grand Slam title having been so long.

Tomorrow will be an unrested Tsitsipas against Murray on the eve of Murray's 10 year maiden Wimbledon title anniversary. I hope Tsitsipas takes 3 lengthy bathroom breaks.
