Will Louisville get kicked out of the ACC?

I know we all make jokes about kicking Missouri and A&M out of the SEC, but this Louisville thing is some pretty major stuff. This is the real deal. I've never seen a P5 school more exposed for cheating in my lifetime. They just got busted by the FBI for paying a player 100k to sign while already under NCAA investigation and probation. This is one of the rare cases where I can actually see a conference removing a school. Not to mention Louisville is a new comer to the ACC. They just joined the ACC 3 years ago. Nobody will want to be associated with the Louisville brand after this.

Problem is who do they replace them with?

West Virginia would make the most sense
Or ND a full member.
Or ND a full member.

Not a chance.
Football is a strong contributor (brought a Heisman trophy to the conference last year).
Even with a basketball death penalty or near death penalty (a la Penn St), they will bounce back in basketball within 12 months after restrictions are lifted. Too much donor money.

They fit in well in the ACC, see Florida state and North Carolina's scandals.

Notre Dame needs to sack up and join the Big 10 where they belong.

Only way I could see a program being kicked out of a p5 conference is if the entire program was implicated in cheating. Football and all the other sports for Louisville have nothing to do with this so far. I guess Louisville should embrace becoming a football school now.

That’s the only logical choice
But frick the ACC, their snobbery towards WVU just to take a filth of the earth Atheltic department like Lville.

I remember the absurdity when WV fans thought they proved they deserve a spot in the SEC because LSU beat them by 4 TDs.

Calipari will be the next hc
Jk if he has a good year, I wouldn't be suprised if Will Wade gets an offer from them.

You sound quite intelligent.

Most big ten schools are large enrollment state universities
Acc is full of small private schools
It's a perfect fit sans geography
But worrying about geography in 2017 is a lol
