Will Christian McCaffrey's game translate to the NFL.

I think so, as long he is used correctly.
He has to bring his lunch pail to work and be the first in and last out in training camp.

He's better suited for a slot type role than being an every down back I think. Like you said it all depends on how he's used

He has a high motor; a real gym rat

only if he has a high motor - if not, all bets are off

Yea he reminds me of Sproeles ability.

Great post. My feelings exactly. He has the speed, but if he became the #1 RB, he would get hurt.

Gonna be so good for New England

I think he'll make a good slot receiver and special teams guy.
Has NE written all over him.

Owlie, if goes to NE, with the best coach in the NFL.
He will be successful.

He actually reminds me of Reggie Bush some. He's bigger than Sproles about the same size as Bush. Bush has more breakaway speed probably but I think McCaffrey would succeed in a similar role

He's prlly the 2nd most athletic back in the draft behind Cook. He reminds me a little of Leveon Bell how he is really patient and waits for a hole to develop then explodes. He's really shifty and moves laterally like Bell as well.

I hope he doesn't go to the Saints, they would ruin his career.

What kind of shite is that?
Saints are an offensive team.. Thomas is excelling as a rookie and even Bama backs don't bust in New Orleans

I feel they would treat him like Graham or Sproles. When those two were in the game, the opposing D knew the Saints were going for them.

He is a fit guy. Its going to have to be the right fit for him to be successful. I think the same applies for Fournette because he is a classic down hill I formation type type of back. Guice on the other hand I think would fit into almost any system in the NFL.

He should probably go somewhere that has an established running back already. I could see him having success in a place like San Diego,Green Bay or Kansas City.
Fournette needs to go to Carolina. That way this board will be entertaining once again.
