He's alive!!!

I just saw your name, and I didn't realize until now that you haven't been posting on the MSB lately. Not sure that's a good thing that I didn't notice sooner.

I've hardly even posted today. Why don't you actually try to argue against my post instead of throwing around an idiotic term like "butthurt" while contributing nothing substantive to the thread?

You of all people accusing someone else of not contributing substance to a thread. Take a gander at your recent posts.

I think there is a strong chance he ties Jordan with 6 Championships and a decent chance he can get to 7. Would that cement him as the uncategorized GOAT?

In 6 full seasons from 1991-1993 and 1996-1998, Jordan won 6 titles and 6 Finals MVPs. He also was named NBA MVP in 4 of those seasons, as well as 1 other.

Brady has 5 Super Bowls, 4 Super Bowl MVPs. He also lost the Super Bowl twice. He's won 2 MVPs in the NFL.

Brady would have needed to accomplish quite a bit more to be in the conversation with Jordan

Brady just hasn't dominated the sport on an individual level and team level like Jordan did. Really the only two athletes in the modern era that have are Gretsky and Tiger Woods (albeit in an individual sport).

He turns 40 this year. 3-peating from ages 39-41 in the most physical major sport would be GOAT status. Jordan was average AF at age 40, Brady is still a top player.

MJ was considered the best in his sport unanimously when he played. He led his sport in individual categories, as well as winning team championships.

Brady does not have the individual accolades.

apples to oranges. the position brady plays and the physical demands that come with it are not the same as an NBA guard. and longevity is outweighed by the pure dominance Jordan had that Brady does not.

Jordan won 6 titles over an 8-year period.

Brady has 5 titles over a 16-year period.

Michael was also 10x first team All Nba

Brady is 2x All pro

It isnt a knock on Brady, or anyone else, to say he doesnt belong in this comparison

So Brady is being punished for being better earlier and later than MJ?

I'm not arguing for Brady but reading this thread you would think Brady's stats are average. He's in the top 5 in most any major QB category that matters.
