If psu or Mich wins the Big 10, should osu get in the playoff again? I mean, it's not like they didn't get thumped by clemson....nor did they play in conference title game... But, they bring the $$ and fans etc lol

Depends....does the "champ" get crushed by Pitt again and lose 2 games?

What does any of that have to do with THIS year?

Osu has been let in the playoffs twice when they shouldnt. Tcu got ripped off few years ago because of osu's name.

Wait, You mean the year TCU wasn't the true Big 12 champ because they lost to Baylor? Isn't that what you are crying about from the Big 10 last year??

Exactly... OSU is the CLASS of the Big ten this year... Their toughest game the whole year is Oklahoma AT HOME... They win that and its off to the races.....

Let's break this down in reverse order:
-Lost 2 games. Indeed Penn State did. They won 11 games, same as Ohio State, but they did lose 2 games. This right here is good enough for me to not be too upset that Penn State was left out.
-Crushed by Pitt. 3 point loss, on the road, in the second game for the OC and QB. Had you said crushed by Michigan, you'd have something.
-"Champ". Why the quotation marks? There was only one Big Ten Champion, and that was Penn State. Do you care that Ohio State was the East co-champion?
-Depends. Probably not. B1G champion Ohio State or Michigan are in. About the only way non champion OSU or UM makes it is if 3 loss Minnesota beats a Penn State that fluked their way to another B1GCG appearance.

Hey frick you, buddy
Penn State has a good OC. The strengths of Franklin is recruiting. He's recruiting good players, and he's recruiting good coordinators. You'll be hard pressed to find people that will say Franklin is out coaching Meyer or Harbaugh. Hell, Franklin is 0-3 against Fitzgerald at Northwestern.

All that said, last year, PSU lost 2 of their first 4 games, then went on a 10 game tear. Even the loss to USC in the Rose Bowl was a better loss than it could have been. The OC, the OL coach, and the QB all have another year to gel, and the question marks are no more than most any team save OSU and Alabama.

Finally, it's not a stretch to think Penn State is overrated, being top 10 always carries that risk. They will have a target on their backs and won't sneak up on anyone like they snuck up on OSU. I had a shite ton of fun and alcohol last year, hoping for more this year.

I'm on board with Penn State, they've always been my #2 team. The offense should be fun to watch with that stable of RBs and McSorley.

Need a WR to step up though. Hopefully it's Hamilton but he's always so inconsistent. I'm hoping it's Blacknall.
