There's not a whole lot in this rant which approaches a coherent point, but I'm not lecturing anyone on their rights, but here it goes now: He has the right to protest, you have the right to call him a piece of crap. His employer has the right to make sure he complies with his contract, and the NFL has already said they don't have a rule requiring players to stand. They are, of course, free to cut him if they wish to endure the PR firestorm which would follow. That is how the free market of ideas works. I neither condemned nor endorsed Kaep's protest, just pointed out he certainly had the right to do it. Oh, and if you can't find right wing political opinions on TV and radio, you must not be looking very hard.

And yes, people should ignore it if it angers them. A news story needs continuing developments like a fire needs oxygen. Every outraged tweet or article about Kaep justifies lengthening the news cycle. He had apparently sat for previous games and no one noticed. Thus, there was no story. The story is your outrage, really, not Kaep's protest. As long as you stay outraged and people keep registering their outrage, the story will stay in the news. The moment people stop reacting to him is when the story dies. Your choice.

I'm talking about the Olymmpics in regards to the 4 track girls, Gabby Douglas, and 2 shot put guys. Twitter, message boards blew up over 2 groups, didn't mention anything about the other people that did the EXACT same thing!

Reminds me of the Olympic fake outrage. People outraged and blew up internet when the coloreds didn't put their hands over their hearts. But no outrage when the white boys didn't put their hand over their heart, didn't smile, look like they weren't happy when the national anthem was played. Strange how people get mad at certain people and not others. CK is proving a point. America treats people differently.

I want people to find some posts of people showing same outrage at the white guys not putting hands over hearts, not smiling. I want people finding posts to tell them to leave the country, saying they are disrespectful, they'll pay for a boat ride to another country. Because those black track girls and gabby douglas got a lot of shite. Gabby took so much heat she had to apologize. Those other guys didn't have to apologize, nobody harassed them.
