After another embarrassing loss last night, in what may have been the most boring Eagles game I've ever watched, I went to bed last night hoping to wake up to the news that Reid was fired. I was disappointed.

u want to fire him after the whole OL is out, McCoy is out, and the Eagles management signed a dog killer to play QB? Hes a good caoch with a bad QB and lots of injuries.

He is an awful coach now. Playcalling is atrocious. Throw it early. And when you're down two scores deep in the game...run the ball and take your time

He's a good coach who needs a fresh start elsewhere.

He'll finish out the season and then be let go, IMO.

In 2012, he is not a good coach. In 2002 though....

How Andy Reid-ish would it be for them to win out and make the NFC Championship?

I figured.

I want them to pursue Chip Kelly.

This.

I don't think he is a bad coach, just not the coach the Eagles need right now. The past couple of years have been marred by terrible play calling, bad time management, and his use of Mccoy is horrendous. Time for him to go.

This, and why fire him right now instead of a month from now? In other words, what advantage do the Eagles gain from firing him today instead of in January?

San Diego seems like a likely landing spot since he's from California.

His name is being tossed around on Eagles message boards. I agree, I want Chip Kelly. He's an offensive minded coach, that likes to spread the ball around to different receivers, and effectively utilizes the run.

Yeah, gruden is friends with Andy and it will be weird taking over for him. They have to tread carefully on how they deal with his exit so not to run off who they're obviously going to hire

agreed. Just let the man finish out the season.

if he doesn't end up taking off some time next year, I think he could end up in San Diego

I think he takes time off. Remember, his son overdosed and died during training camp this year. It's pretty insane that he didn't take any time off because of that.

This, sometimes a coach gets stagnate in one place too long. Especially in the NFL.

Longest tenure in the league. (Pretty sure anyway) don't dump a guy in the middle of the year that has given/done so much.
