Why is no one talking about Thabo Sefolosha's trial?

His trial has been going on but no one outside of people on twitter are talking about it. How is this possible considering all of the attention the NYPD hs gotten on how it treats black citizens

No one really talked about it when it happened either. It obviously got a bit of publicity and was talked about by nba guys for a few days, maybe, but it was never too hot of a topic

El Flaco ?@bomani_jones okay, this part from the sefolosha trial is just hysterical

El Flaco ?@bomani_jones how’d those cops have all that time and couldn’t get a straight story?

My thought is, if this happens to someone like Lebron or Steph Curry, those cops are likely fired on the spot. For all other lesser athletes and average citizens it's business as usual.

It's definitely weird. Not sure why the media hasn't picked up on it.

If he was a Laker/Knick all hell would have broken loose

Yeah it's kind of like why does everybody talk about Michael Brown, who was a total asshat and probably deserved to be shot, but yet nobody talks about that poor little kid in Cleveland who was playing with the toy gun and got mowed down by cops the instant they arrived on scene.

I'm constantly amazed by what latches on and what doesn't

Thabo not guilty...

So the NYPD break a NBA players leg causing him to miss the conference finals and it isn't a major story?

Sharpton really picks and chooses his battles

ETA Thabo bout to get paid in this lawsuit

It's almost comical. Pero testified and said that Thabo was giving money to a homeless man when it happened. Then the officers who witnessed the ordeal tried to say he started it by calling one of the harassing officers "a midget" after the fact.

the best part is them trying to say that he injured his leg before being held in custody
