Auburn was dominated at home by a bi-polar LSU team and had 5 close wins, two of which qualify as miracle wins.

Id say MSU belongs in the conversation as this was definitely not a good year for the SEC.

This.

People are enamored with Auburn right now but really look at their wins...even the big one against Bama...how many chances did Bama have to ice that game?

The W is all that matters.

Michigan State looked like shite against terrible South Florida. Only won 14-0 against terrible Purdue.

MSU had a close loss to ND on the road and had 3-4 questionable PI calls go against them before going on to dominate their conference winning every game by 10+.

However, their schedule really doesn't stack up well against Auburn's.

Ohio St, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, Northwestern?, Illinois?

Alabama, Missouri, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, Miss St, Washington St

I love how Michigan State plays though and am really looking forward to the Rose Bowl smash mouth match up with Stanford.

the other day I noticed Michigan State only had one loss. frankly, I thought they had more, since all anyone heard from the B1G was tOSU and everybody else.

People were saying a 1 loss Auburn should jump an undefeated Ohio State. I like how suddenly a 1 loss Michigan State should jump Auburn. That makes sense. Michigan State should be penalized for all the reasons Ohio State was.

Why accept a crappy, non-relevant Rose Bowl bid? Why would they not want to play f$u for all the marbles?

Is that you, De'Anthony Thomas?

And in the rain. The same rain that caused LSU to lose in Tuscaloosa this year.

SEC trumps all basically. Not all conferences are created equally basically. At first I used to like to brag and boast how LSU plays in the toughest conference. Now its getting too much. I'm tired of the SEC and its dominance. I feel kind of bad for the other teams honestly. But as it us now, if you're in the SEC, you are automatically a step ahead of everyone else, whether you deserve it or not
