I think he’d be a great fit to a proud program with a strong legacy. He’d be perfect to bring them back on track.

How old is Les? Seems that by the time he got the corner turned at a program it will be about time to retire.

I think he would be a better fit at Nebraska or Arkansas.

I think the fact that he doesn't already have a coaching job is telling of where his stock is.

There is a reason no one is considering him for any position.

I doubt he would take the job.... he would still have to face Saban every year....

He'll be 64 next month. Not really worth hiring someone that old unless you're looking for a short term caretaker.

Because Gruden is going to be their next coach, obviously.

Tennessee is looking for some up and comer to make them elite again. Les doesn't fit that mold.

Tennessee wants a young coach to make them a top tier program. And no reason they shouldn't be. They have all the money they need, a massive stadium, great facilities, a historic program, good recruiting classes every year, supportive fan base, and that beautiful color scheme and uniform

They would have competed for Herman had they been willing to part with Jones a year earlier

If Les really wants to coach, just because he loves it, and doesn't need a huge contract, he could go the Frank Solich route and find a non-P5 school and finish his career there.

Any chance he has a list of schools he cannot go 2, as part of buyout?

I honestly believe he has already instructed his agent to just barely work on keeping his name out there. He's completely content making $130k a month to do NOTHING from LSU. How anybody doesn't understand that is amazing...
