yeah they've been good sometimes, I didn't say they weren't. But lots of teams are good. They are just so inconsistent from year to year. They've had 1 good team and 1 very good team and it took a perfect storm of every facet of the game coming together to achieve those 2 seasons. That proves to me that, even at their peak, they aren't capable of winning a super bowl.

and the Saints had everything break right for their Super Bowl... yet when it does for the Panthers they are "inconsistent" even though they've won the division 3 years running and will be a contender next year.

Face it they've been a good team your hatred is clouding your judgement.

Yeah at our best we won the super bowl. The panthers at their best couldn't, despite facing easier competition.

Not sure I agree on the easier competition, the 2003 Patriots and 2015 Broncos were both better than the 2009 Colts

That's debatable but I'm also considering teams they faced throughout the playoffs and to a lesser extent the regular season.

Even still I'm not necessarily sure I agree. In 2003 I know Car played at STL and at Philly and won, those were the top two seeds in the NFC that year. This year they played the twice defending NFC champ and blew out an Arizona team that was really good and had the highest point differential in the league IIRC. 2009 Minnesota was really good I'll give you that but I think it's a wash at best. But we can agree to disagree
