i said whip. and yes, whip is a fantasy stat. sure it is a real stat as well, but juding a guys effectiveness off of how many hits they give up is a little retarded. i want the era to be as low as possible

REALLY? just bc a guy strikesout a lot of people, if he gives up runs bc all he throws is gas doesnt make him effective. all that matters is runs and getting people out. i dont give a rats arse if my pitchers give up more hits and strike out a few less batters as long as they dont allow runs
and for the record, i think saves are stupid stats, just to get my stance out there. but i also dont have a problem with having set guys for set situations either
