That either shows how shitty most people have become, or how little we expect from professional athletes.

O the what if game is absurd. Well if the Heat didn't have a 15 point collapse against the Mavericks, they probably win 3 straight. See how stupid that is.

Or if Kobe's teammates didn't play well enough to overcome his 6-24 performance, they would have lost to the Celtics. Or what if Courtney Lee made that shot with the Magic?

None of those happened though, and close calls are inherent in basketball.

I'm not even a Cleveland fan, I just have a lot of respect for lebron, his game, his work ethic, and his accomplishments.

I respect what the guy accomplished. He's just not the GOAT, well as of right now.

Best player in the world right now.

Nobody on here is arguing against that. Nobody is saying he sucks or saying he's a garbage basketball player. Obviously he has a great game and great work ethic, nobody can argue against that. He's accomplished more than most likely every single person on TD. Don't act like we have to like him though. Doesn't mean we can't cheer against him or against his team.

I think it must've be TreyAsasino or whatever that was destroying Bron for leaving and saying he was a piece of shite and that they would never ever take him back

I told him then and there that if Bron hits free agency you would be begging on your hands and knees for him to come back

Que last offseason where he's posting COME HOME LEBRONNNNNNNN shite

Because he's not actually great. Hall of fame level players like Tristain Thompson, Mo Williams and JR Smith just coincidently have breakout years when he happens to come to town and he coattail rides on those studs' high level of play.

Why is it when the Cavs/Heat lose the LeFanBois throw a pitty party and call everyone who isn't pulling for LeBron's team a hater or that we don't appreciate greatness?

It was a great game last night. LBJ played amazing. They lost. Stop crying

Well that does describe a large portion of the people who don't pull for him.

Ahh so in the minds of Heat/Cavs/LeBron fans you're either a fan or you hate him. It's becoming clearer now

I'm referring to some of the regulars on this board, not the randoms.

Why is TD used as a barometer so often?

agree with you here. People can appreciate his game (or criticize his game as well), but god forbid he receives some negative comments. The ESPN Houston guys had a great segment yesterday of why LBJ has so many haters and they put it eloquently by saying that just because you don't like the guy doesn't mean you shouldn't appreciate his game. I agree with that 100% and I'm not a fan of his....at all.

Casual fans do enjoy it.

Casual fans aren't post shot on message boards and Twitter.

Hey, to each their own, but I'm sure most would agree that watching sports for the sole purpose to just hate someone and just hate watch isn't exactly the best way to enjoy sports. I'm sure you didn't enjoy watching the 2 NBA Finals Lebron won, no chance.

Whereas those that just watch for the entertainment, I'll enjoy this series no matter what, last night was going to be epic regardless of who won. Zero chance you can say you enjoyed it the same with either result.

It's one thing if it's your favorite team, but hate watching is just weird.
