How old is the nephew she allegedly assaulted?
big difference in beating the shite out of a nephew/mom and going too far disciplining that nephew

I don't really see your point in all this.. Viewing things with a singular pair of glasses always leads to inequities of the truth.. We suspected in the rice case what he did and how he did it but that video adds a complete other indisputable layer to the outrage that isn't completely mired in emotion..

cause no one cares about woman's soccer

who did she hit, because nothing is sexier than a woman who gets good wit da switch

Pretty sure the nephew was a minor, although a later teenager.
But you are right, SFP. The media circle jerks around a story per their convenience. It's all TMZ at this point.

This is what it boils down to really. The same reason nobody would care if Mark Madsen cheated on his wife, but Kobe Bryant gets crucified for it. If you're in the spotlight (which the NFL is much more so than women's soccer), you are going to get full attention from the media.

Not to diminish the specter of domestic violence, which is horrible, but let's be honest. Some of the feeding frenzy which has engulfed the Ray Rice incident has been perpetuated by people who have agendas and are simply using the Ray Rice incident to further said agenda.
Some of this artificial hysteria can be explained as part of the #waronmen. Don't think so? Well, just ask yourself this question. Even if a video surfaced, do you think NOW gives a damn about whatever physical violence Hope Solo perpetrated against a couple of relatives? Of course not. Meanwhile, they think they need to tell the NFL how to conduct their business, and whether or not Roger Goodell should be the Commissioner.
I'm not standing up for Goodell, because the original 2-game suspension was a joke. I'm just pointing out that some of the loudest voices on this matter are simply trying to further their own respective agendas.
I guess men have simply become the latest group that the PC crowd is targeting. I guess we should all walk around with a sign hanging from our necks, saying "Sorry for having a pair."

If this were a dude who plays for the Kansas City MLS soccer team, no one would care.
SFP is making this a male/female issue but it's not that in this instance.

Because working for women's soccer organization in the American landscape is closer to working at McDonalds than the NFL.
