Who’s pulling for Alabama in their tilt vs Cincinnati?

I’ve had some arguments over this and in my opinion the SEC is strong enough to not have to pull for our enemies in our division. The playoffs and potential expanded playoffs magnify this feeling.

The respect the SEC gets is why they have two teams in the playoffs. That respect comes mostly from winning playoff games. LSU benefits from that respect. One year we might win a championship that, but for that respect, we would not have had a chance at, just like Georgia might do this year. Georgia would not be in the playoffs had Bama, UF and LSU not won half this century’s championships.

Cheering for your conference made sense in the BCS era. Not so much now in the CFP era, especially with the prospect of the playoff expanding.

I really don’t care.
Obviously I would love to see Bama lose.
But also I kind of want to see Bama curb stomp them, because a team with Cincinnati’s resume being in the playoff is a joke.

I hear you and I appreciate the well thought out response but I still want them to lose. I don’t give a shite about that.
To me win the SEC and you are in if you don’t win the SEC and get left out then that’s on you for not winning the SEC. Just my feelings.

Win all of your games and it doesn't matter.
