Jackie Burke, why? Once while playing he reached down and picked up some grass and threw it in the air and never watched which way the wind blew it. His playing partner said why did you do that. He said, I don't know, all the good golfers do it.
Lanny Wadkins, why? He was playing Seve in a match at the ryder cup. He lines up a putt and Seve's mark is in the way. He hits the putt and it caroms off Seve's mark and in to the hole. Seve goes on a rant about how lucky Lanny is and Lanny replies, that's how good I am Seve.
