Teo will win with a good game over USC.

Outside of a National championship, hasn't he already outgained them in passing and rushing? I heard something like he'll be the first 3000/1000 QB ever or in a while. Can't remember exactly what they said. The guy from ND will likely get it because he's from ND and they will be playing for the crystal.

No way a lb wins it. And jff was the first freshman with those stats not the first ever. He deserves it though

Yeah I have no clue. No one really jumps out to me. I guess Johny Football is as good a choice as any.

he'll need a heisman moment.

i think if he somehow gets a TD, he is a lock (for right or wrong). with that said, a LB scoring a TD is such a statistical improbability that it is not going to happen...

So if JFF converts on that extra point saturday, would have have made him a lock, since the bama game was his heisman moment?

JF is a) a freshman and b) his team is not undefeated. that matters (for right or wrong)

i'm not dismissing teo's season, but if he wins it b/c of (b) i'm going to rage

even with that, AD in 2004 got the biggest shaft of them all. OU was undefeated and he was the best player

there is a guy who clearly should be #1 and the rest of the field has bad depth. JFF is an easy choice, imho

First freshman ever to do it. He'll get as close if not closer (and maybe win it) than Adrian Peterson did.

I think jff is clearly the best person in college football right now. With that said, it's shouldn't matter if he's a freshman or a senior. If people vote based on seniority, then they should stop voting for the trophy.

Well that's the problem, there are 40 voters who are not like 50 years old, and they don't want a freshman to win it. I'm not sure I care if he wins it, but I have no idea who should. Best player on the best team is possible, but MT isn't going to win it likely. Can't give it to Braxton when you put his #'s side by side with JFF and Klein, even if his team finishes undefeated.

I could support Lee winning it
