why should mc carron lose it for two auburn tds scored when he wasn't on the field?

Why should he win it when he (not his team) is only a average/good QB?

Wait...what? He would only be on the field for an auburn score if he threw a pick 6 or a fumble returned for a TD. In those cases, he absolutely should

The best college coach ever, sits his heisman trophy candidate QB, for a kicker to attempt a 57 yard FG. Only to lose the game, chance at SEC championship, and possible BCS championship. Ya That's gotta persuade a lot of votes from the voters.

The Heisman should not be given out annually. It should be when an athlete excels above his competition and is deemed worthy of receiving it.

Well, this may be the same thing but it could be like the Baseball HoF, where you have to garner a certain percentage of the votes to win it

I.e If one person doesnt get atleast 40 percent of the vote, then noone wins

But it would never happen because of the specticale of it all and thered be a let down to announce at the ceremony to say "noone won, sorry bitches"

It could be announced who won by press release or ESPN horse race-like reporting and a formal ceremony could be held thereafter.

LOL at people thinking AJ should get it. He isn't even the best football player on his team.

I think Winston is still the front-runner. The accusations will definitely hurt his chances though. This is a tough year to pick a winner. Manziel, Lynch, and Winston are pretty sure invites to the ceremony for me. Personally, I'd kinda like to see Lynch win it.

he ended his season with lackluster results though. He only had 29 rushing yards, 1 touchdown. Missed the rest of the game after the 3rd quarter

true.

I just like going against the grain though.

Williams was being compared to what Barry Sanders did 1988. How often do you see that happen?

the media blowhards that are all in for the QB are clueless IMO.
