The consensus when Curry was drafted was that he played PG his senior year, but that he couldn't actually play that in the NBA because he made tons of mistakes at the position (and at the end of the day, he had a SG mentality), and he was way too small to play shooting guard in the NBA. The guy is a rail thin 6'2" (listed at 6'3"). He also was not considered a great athlete. He had tons of things going against him. Lots of players with a great shot and great fundamentals struggle to make the NBA jump when they are undersized and/or not a freak athlete.
