Based on the way the OP is phrased, I would say Jason Witten is the answer.

He is the only SEC Player that would be a sure Hall of Fame selection if he retired today.

However, if the criteria is the best player right now, it would be Julio or OBJ or Eric Berry.

Best right now. Julio

Eli Manning does have 2 Superbowls which counts for something.

I mean, Jason Witten is one of the greatest to ever play tight end. And likely the lastbto play as a pure tight end, given the direction the position is moving. It's hard to argue against that.

If we're doing a snapshot of only right this minute? I'd say Berry with Beckham/Julio right behind.

More like averaging 1,600 yards the last three seasons.

It should be a question of who is the best Ex from each conference right now?

And then rank them...in order of greatness...

1. Big10 - Tom Brady
2. Pac12 - Aaron Rodgers
3. ACC - Luke Kuechly (he's 3X first-team all-Pro from 2012)
4. Big12 - Vonn Miller
5. SEC - Julio Jones (he's 2X first-team all-Pro from 2011)

Did none if y'all watch the Super Bowl?

Hightower and Flowers mauled the Falcons OLine all night and then of course got the game changing sacks.

I'm not saying they're the best, but Julio had four catches in that game and those 2 defenders harassed Ryan all night.
