That’s a terrible matchup for a terrible bowl in a terrible stadium in a terrible city.

Hater.

It's a great destination with plenty of history. Stadium is great. City has plenty to do. Gambling, great restaurants, etc. What's not to like?

They don’t know. The concourses and bathrooms are actually nicer than Tiger Stadiums.

I passed by the Independence bowl once. Not impressed with Duke or Temple. I do support money for the state from fans though.

ACC vs. AAC, right. Two three-letters conferences, using only two letters. Something wrong with that.

Maybe the teams can all catch a good Oak Ridge Boys concert at the Margaritaville theater? Or maybe Kenny Loggins sings Christmas at the Horseshoe?

Then everyone can go watch the gators lay there at Bass Pro.

Growing up in Shreveport, this was always a highlight for me, especially being granted passes on the sideline due to family and friends on the I bowl committee. Highlights being when LSU came to town. We've had some outstanding match ups throughout the years and it's actually one of the oldest bowl games. OU played here the year before they won the NC in 99'. Eli Manning and ole Miss with Eli at QB played Nebraska. A&M played Georgia in 09' with Von Miller. Saban brought bama his first year. We had the blizzard bowl in 00' with A&M and moo St. Was hoping walk-ons could bring a better purse to move up in selection order. Every few years we'll get a good matchup like Miami and South Carolina but it's otherwise shite like this year. Even so, you might get to see a future Hall of Famer like when Farve came with Southern Miss.

I just need to know if Temple's Ryquell Armstead will be back on the field.

Temple’s coach is:

Temple interim HC Ed Foley is more excited to be in Shreveport than any person in human history
