Do u really believe Belichick will take an offensive player with his first pick? Here's a guy that drafts defense each year and can barely field a top 15 defense in this league but then takes credit for the offense.
This guy is so freaking overrated as a coach and a GM. Never has a big time super star like Tom Brady in any sport been treated like this. Hey billy can u give Tom a good receiver in his prime once before u both retire?
The one year Brady had a decent receiver, he went 18-0 and broke like 5 NFL records.
Must be nice to just manage the salary cap for Cheesehead. Just let Brady "find a way" with whatever we end up with and still go down as one of the all time greats.

He had to take Solder, Light was retiring. So now we go all the way back to 06. Any receivers in that list? Brady did get one RB back in 06. Bill mustve been drunk.

Pats are gonna draft a CB and Safety with the first 2 picks. IMHO, Talib is gone. They aren't going to overpay for a guy who is having problems staying on the field (due to injury), when they need him most.

Even if they do sign Talib, they have to get another CB.

Taliban only missed the Broncos game and that was due to an injury he couldn't return from correct?

Talib missed 3 regular season games this past season.

His injury problems are that severe. Just a nagging hip injury, no surgery

And Talib completely changes the complexion of the Pats Defense since the first time he stepped on the field in a Pats jersey. If there is a guy Bill will overpay, its Talib

They will tag him at the very least but both sides seem amicable to a long term deal

We always pick atleast one but i wouldnt call it a need.

Dennard is a very solid #2 corner. I have confidence hell win most matchups against WRs that arent elite and tall (his shortness is really his biggest down fall, thats why he couldnt keep up with Demayious Thomas)

Logan Ryan had an awesome rookie year. Just a really good football player thats a ball hawk. I think he may start at Strong safety for us one day but for now hes a solid #3 guy going into his 2nd year

And im a little fed up with Kyle Arringon, hes just worthless outside of the slot corner duties and he didnt live up to what he had been doing there this year, but hes good as the 4th option

Why would they draft another CB? Alfonzo is great with smaller, shiftier guys, and Logan looked fantastic for a rookie.

Now that Scar is gone, I see them investing high in interior lineman. Wendell is just too poor in pass blocking and Connolly is not a starter in this league.

As for the guy saying our defense sucks, YPG is a useless measure, try examining ppg.

whats the point of the pats spending all their early picks on defense even though they are still mediocre every year, they need to get brady a #1 reciever type. Edelman would have been the #4 reciever for the broncos this year.

Thats hilarious.

Bill is the GOAT and probably the best GM in the league right now (top 3 at worst)

People that cant grasp the concept of Brady and Belicheck both being great are ridiculous.

The defense is elite when healthy

Just got ravaged by injuries

Why do you think they could have instant guarenteed success at getting a #1 receiver in the 1st round?

Say it with me guys. Aaron dobson, aaron dobson, aaron dobson....

Hernandez, Gronk, and a healthy Amendola would have been 3 of the five top targets on the Broncos this year.

Dobson has the makeup to be a #1 in this league. Rookies do not take well to the scheme.

Defense carried the Pats as long as they could. It was very very good defense. Better than "mediocre"
