I'm not talking about being injured during most of their college time or because of being stuck behind someone on the depth chart like Tom Brady or Matt Cassel had to do. And I'm not counting those that changed sports like Jimmy Graham or Antonio Gates.

NFL: the player that comes to mind for me is Danielle Hunter. I'm sure it's a bunch of runningbacks that struggled in college but made it big in the NFL. I didn't think he was bad But the production wasn't there. Hunter comes to mind probably from being an LSU fan.

Another LSU players I thought was bad in college but ended up having a somewhat decent career is Wade Richey. My memory may be wrong on this one.

I don't know enough about the players in college in the other sports to list right now.

Who do y'all think are the best pros that weren't very good in college?

Josh Donaldson. Though I wouldn't say he was terrible in college, just not near what he has been in the bigs.

He's not a HOF by any means but I'm surprised Mike Wallace has been successful in the NFL. Never really put it all together at Ole Miss but he's done very well for himself in the NFL

I know Sam Cassell was a very good college player for Florida St, but I didn't think many saw him having a 15 year NBA career, averaging 16ppg, 6ast & 3reb. Damn solid numbers & career. I may be wrong though....

Andre Drummond wasn't anything special in his one year in college.

Wasn't he hurt in college also? I thought about him but couldn't remember if injuries kept him out.

Not necessarily the best but Deshea Townsend did very little of consequence at Alabama before having a solid pro career with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I was always surprised to see Danny McCray in the league after being constantly abused by receivers and LSU fans in college.

OJ Howard seems like a good candidate. He may have put up better stats than I know about though.
