I heard years back peeps bitched about high prices and traffic and parking issues. Didn't exactly make sense since SC sells out and the lakers sell out........

after the Cardinals & Rams you think the NFL will give St. Louis 3 chances?
I don't think that losing the Rams to their previous city is so much a failure of Saint Louis so much as Los Angeles becoming again what it is supposed to be.

Los Angeles > Saint Louis
Saint Louis > Jacksonville

I see it as dominoes falling.

Speaking of NBA teams moving, it would be cool if the Kings were still in Kansas City.

Chiefs
Kings
Royals

The only reason they have been targeted is because they are playing in the crappiest stadium in the NFL.

That's likely to change within the next 5 years. The Santa Clara deal will eventually get done.

The Saints have a better chance of moving than the Niners (but both are essentially 0%). Absolutely not happening.

I don't see either of these teams moving back to L.A.

San Francisco 49ers

Don't see this happening either.

Buffalo Bills
Jacksonville Jaguars

These two make the most sense, and of the two, probably Jacksonville makes the most sense.

A very underrated facet in this whole debate is the potential realignment of the NFL that a relocation may cause.

Realignment is a HUGE headache that harms rivalries and upsets the balance of the league.

Because of this, I firmly believe that Minnesota, Buffalo, and Jacksonville are relatively safe for now.

Secondly, no teams are currently for sale except St. Louis. And the Rams are a very cheap franchise valued at only $800 million or so. Buying the Rams and moving them to Los Angeles would make them worth over $1 Billion overnight, which is a great way to recoup some of the money that this dude is spending on the stadium.

In my opinion here are the 3 most likely franchises to relocate to Los Angeles:

1. St Louis - The heavy favorites. The only franchise currently for sale. Would fit naturally in the NFC West and would actually IMPROVE the current rivalries in that division. There are still Rams fans in LA from the 1980's. St Louis is not a football town and is disgusted that a stadium built in 1995 is already "outdated".

2. Oakland - Makes sense in a lot of ways, especially geographically. However Al Davis is not going to sell and the man building the new stadium is doing it ONLY because he wants to buy his own NFL franchise.

3. San Diego - Makes sense in a lot of ways including the retention of much of their existing San Diego fanbase.

No actually those two make the LEAST sense.

You cannot have the Los Angeles Bills or Los Angeles Jaguars flying 8,000 more miles than any other team in the NFL to play their games on the East coast.

Ridiculous. Won't happen. You also can't put either of them in an existing Western Conference and break up these existing rivalies:

Broncos/Raiders/Chargers/Chiefs - cannot mess with that

49ers/Rams/Cards/Seahawks - cannot mess with that.

The only solution is to move one of the teams ALREADY IN THE WEST to Los Angeles. Nothing else makes any sense at all.

Doesn't really matter what you "see", because these are the 2 most likely.

I'd be willing to bet that St Louis is the franchise that moves back. Would love to see them go back to their classic royal blue and mustard yellow unis.

Switch Indianapolis and Baltimore because having Indy in the south is stupid

If they wanted to do that, they would have in 2002, but because Baltimore, Cleveland and Balt and Pitt had developed rivalry's they kept them in the division with each other. Same reason miami is in the East and not the South

Jacksonville doesn't make sense actually.

The Rams make the most sesne.

1) They used to be in LA.
2) They are in the NFC West now, so the move wouldn't affect the divisions.
3) They are up for sale. Moving to LA would instantaneously increase their value by about $50M.

I'd be willing to bet NFL games would sell out for at least the first 5 years the Rams were there. If they continued to suck then that could be a different story.

Yes. If the Rams moved back to LA, the stadium would sell out the first few years.

First you said FIVE years and now you say a few. The Rams would have to WIN RIGHT AWAY!! They suck SO bad now. Its hard to get fans to go to the games if a team is GOOD. The team they would bring from SAINT LOUIE would be REAL bad. L.A. football fans would show but its SOOOOO Different then it was when the Rams were there.
