Huh??? Kinnick Stadium is not a dump. It is a beautiful stadium and is perfect for Iowa.

Agreed. Kinnick is pretty awesome. Iowa city is a good time, for sure.

Outside of Virginia Tech, the ACC lacks any real punch. Very blah

B1G:
- Ohio Stadium
- Michigan Stadium
- Camp Randall
- Beaver Stadium
- Kinnick Stadium
- Spartan Stadium
- Memorial Stadium (Nebraska)

These are seven stadiums that are pretty awesome.

I like TCF Bank Stadium and Memorial Stadium (Indiana) as well, but they don't have the atmosphere of the above seven. Ryan Field, High Point Stadium, Ross-Ade Stadium, Memorial Stadium (Illinois) all kind of suck and I'm not sure what to think of Byrd Stadium.

I also like how three venues in the conference are called Memorial Stadium.

SEC
B1G
Pac 12

I guess I'd put the ACC over the Big 12, which seems to get pretty meh after DKR and Oklahoma.

With the millions of dollars pouring in for renovations it is easily the SEC.

1 SEC
2 B1G
3 PAC
Who cares

Well, this IS an SEC site... but I'll say:

SEC
Big 14
The rest

I could agree. But the SEC runs away as you go further down the list. He didn't even mention Neyland or Kyle Field, which both seat over 100,000.

1. SEC - atmosphere and sheer size
2. Big 10 - atmosphere and history
3. Pac 12 - scenery and history
4. The rest are pretty underwhelming

For people who DON'T think its the SEC, I encourage you to look up the renovations going on to LSU, Kyle Field, Miss St. There's a great thread on SECR about the renovations. It is impressive.

I think SEC has a few of the best stadiums, but I think the Big Ten may have more good ones.

ACC only really has VT, Clemson, and FSU(which honestly is only great in huge games)

I say it's a tie between the big ten and the sec. With the big ten you have the Big House, Ohio Stadium, Spartan Stadium, Memorial Stadium for Neb. Both conferences have the best stadiums and the new gopher stadium which I have been to is easily the best new college stadium of the last 30 years. The SEC has great stadiums with Tiger Stadium as my favorite and Neyland and the Swamp ranks up there. I actually think Bryant-Denny is getting too big and with the additions just doesn't look right in some regards.

Even Ryan Field at Northwestern has gotten some renovations that would rate it above Vandy and Miss State.

After the top tier stadiums in the B1G of The Shoe, The Big House, Happy Valley, Camp Randall and Nebraska the rest of the conference is still AWESOME. Here are the middle tier programs and their stadiums.

Kinnick Stadium - Loud, look at how close the seats are to the field!

Spartan Stadium - Undergoing renovations

Memorial Stadium - Just completed expansion

TCF Bank Stadium Minnnesota - Awesome venue!

Neyland

crammed in like sardines on bench seats, not exactly a top stadium. Size doesn't equate to best stadium to me, you need to consider overall facility. (size, suites, parking and access, seating comfort, concession areas, bathrooms, etc)
