Every year a better team get left out of playoff or championship. It has happened for as long as there has been a championship game. If a team is undefeated in the power five they go before any team with a loss.

Absolutely.....unless Alabama is the one loss team....then we change the parameters.

2019

3 unbeaten Power 5 teams and Oklahoma had 1 loss and was a conference champ. No other team had an argument that year.

Maybe. But put yourself in the shoes of the committee members. How do you make the case that the current version of FSU should get in over SEC champ Alabama?

They went undefeated in a power conference (if they win tonight), beating two SEC teams. That’s the case

I don't like 12 people sitting in a room picking the teams. The BCS formula while not perfect was far better. Because each year their was set criteria that factored in to determine the teams. The committee has no clear set of perimeters they use and of course they always hold that card in their back pocket (eye test) they will randomly throw out when they can't clearly explain why they went one way or the other.

The FSU backup QB and the starters that have been playing all year will be undefeated and will have won their conference.

Jordan Travis isn't the only player on that team.

Bama lost at home to Texas and needed crazy circumstances to beat a very average Auburn team.

FSU should get in over them (as should Texas obviously)

And most of that body of work was with a QB who ain’t coming back. This FSU team is a two touchdown underdog against any of the other playoff contenders.

Since the director of the CFP and former BCS director Bill Hancock has reminded us that it's supposed to be the 4 best every year even though it isn't

So was OK against LSU in 2019. Tough shite. Others shouldn’t have lost a game

Not true. Sometimes teams win a conference but have worse record than others

Name a conference champ with a BETTER record that didn’t get in
