What's up with Nike jerseys accentuating belly sweat

Hard to ignore the belly and arm pit sweat jerseys Nike has created for the NFL. It's a square/rectangular patch. Is this a dry-fit technique to keep players cool, like golf shirts?

certain material changes color when you wear into it, and other parts don't.

That belly sweat makes him look fat, and I know he's not. Not a flattering look for multi million dollar players

The new pants have crotch and asscrack sweat lines too. Weird.

I remember when Madden used to always point out the sweat lines on offensive linemen's asses, good times.

It appears that teams had a choice of sweatbox or no sweatbox.
