They were beasts in 1A and 3A before they went to 5A. It is a direct result of Booty and Alexander leaving.

The issue with Evangel stems directly from Calvary Baptist in Shreveport. When they opened up their HS athletic program, half the athletes Evangel had started going there. It watered them down.
