So he hasn't been terrible or anything over his last couple of starts, 3.77 era, 3.71 fip, 3.72 xfip with keeping his strikeouts up and keeping his baa low. However, his walks have gone way up and I was reading a fangraphs article about how he's having trouble throwing strikes.

So while he still hasn't been bad, its weird to see him pitch like this after hes been so dominant. Is there any cause for concern about him going forward?

I think he's coming back down to earth. He had a good run. He'll have another dominant stretch before the season is over.

He has been getting behind hitters a lot. I also think the league is adjusting to his delivery. I think everyone understood it was near impossible to continue on the pace he was on. He will adjust and have another great stretch.

I was watching MLB network, and they were talking about him last year and one of players mentioned, if you make him throw strikes and his fastball, he is very hittable.

But when you let him dictate the count and ur chasing, he has out pitches and can dominate.

He's also 30 years old, he's no spring chicken. He could be a really bad 6-7 year contract for a team. he will demand top dollar, and he will be 31 when 2017 starts.

After this season I believe....

Another bad night for him 6 innings 9 hits 6 earned runs to the Pirates....

since Dexter Fowler went down in mid-June with an injury, the Cubs were tied with the New York Yankees for lowest batting average (.190) with men in scoring position.

once he said no discount for cubs he stated to not do so well. think he got a little too concerned with the ace contract that he wants.
