re: What were your favorite Air Jordans? (slight spinoff)

I absolutely love the 13's, but haven't owned a pair in forever. I keep telling myself I'll buy the Baron's, but I'm yet to pull the trigger.

These are the ones I have, and my favorite obviously.

There are like 2 pairs of shoes in this thread that aren't lame AF, and those reds are one of them

I'm convinced all you like them simply because it's the cool thing to do. 99% of Jordans look like WalMart shoes. Step your shoe game up bros

Yeah I understand that sentiment, but I can't really compare a shoe like the IIIs to a modern basketball shoe. Hell, I have these Infrared IIIs and they hardly sit any higher on my ankle than my Air Max regular tennis shoes.



Most of the shoes pre-11s sit at or below the ankle bone, and I really don't consider that in the same realm as a traditional basketball shoe.

Touché, but I did say at or below the ankle.

I should be more clear - the styles I prefer the most are the lower cut tops. I'll pass on the 8s and 9s for the most part, the 5s and 6s come in nice low alternatives, and the 10s aren't really that high either with the low cut back.
