What is your impression of Rob Manfred so far?

I like that he says he is open to new ideas although not all ideas he puts out there are very smart ie. bullpen limits. I think he is very transparent and does interviews which is much better than Goodell. I also like that he recognizes the importance of youth participation and engaging young fans and is pushing forward with PlayBall and RBI initiatives. Overall I think he is pretty competent but we will see going forward with the CBA expiring and cord cutting and how he keeps the business functioning.

Agreed. He hasn't had much to deal with yet. I like him so far but the sample size is small.

He looks like he smells better than Bud Selig.

Not too sure, but not wildly optimistic. He has had a couple stances on smaller things (obsession with speeding up the game, bullpen limits, why home runs are up, etc.) that I do not agree with or as Eno Sarris says to his face that, "it lacks believability."
