Napoli was supposed to fix the problem Moreland presented by adding a RH lefty crushing. bat. Instead , the team is batting under Mendoza line (approx .154) vs lefties & teabscare bumping their lefties up a day to face them even off 3 days rest. Overall BA's so far

Because I don't post in threads during the NBA playoffs? That's part of why I'm asking. Missed a good deal of games past few weeks & this is atrocious

Figured wasn't the best time to start this thread, but saw the #s yesterday & even a casual fan knows that is horrendous. Their RISP avg been terrible too, last 2 nights notwithstanding

The starters' ERA & home runs are the only thing stats wise that looks like is helping them weather the slump

Lucroy had a slow start but had three hits the other night and was key last night.

Our clutch hitting has been poor aside from these last two nights.

Also, why don't you use an actual meaningful stat? OBP is a billion times better than batting average. I'm sure ours are still terrible, but at least relevant.

Yes. I saw Sin Soo had a pretty good OBP, but suppose I'm mostly concerned about Odor since he got the new extension.

No one else had a superior OBP besides Choo so figured didn't matter. Good to see Gallo mashing, even if it's Adam Dunn style

Napoli was just a band aid to replace Moreland. He hits 30 HR every year but hits .150 and stikes out a ton. Hes garbage.

If you hit 30 bombs a year you aren't garbage no matter what.

Napoli is also a fan favorite.

It is still early in this season.

The last two nights, the Rangers waited late to score most of their runs.

Too bad for starting pitchers like Darvish and Cashner, who pitch six or seven solid innings, but get little run support while in the game.

Dude don't worry about it we just try to see how big of a lead we can give the astros each year and still take the division. We are coming back!

I would bench him. Not productive enough.

Losing Ian Desmond has to hurt. He & Beltre carried the team in the 1st half last season along with Odor. This hitting vs lefties problem concerns me. I don't trust DeShields to bounce back, tho I like him as a player and want him to do well .

If the rest of the RH hitters don't wake up vs lefties, even if they make the playoffs they will get swept. Lots of games left so not giving up. When NBA over will have more attn on them

Was talking about last year. I know Gallo is playing 3B for him...I haven't NOT followed them, just can't watch as much

Indeed, I'm not worried about him when he returns, it's the rest of them. He is the heartbeat of the team, maybe the rest of the team will take their cues from him when he is back

I guess that's why Chris Carter didn't get non-tendered two years in a row.
