. And how much does that have to do with all the GOAT threads around here.

I think we figured out on the OT that it was 23 or 24. If its close to that here then that explains alot

That's what I was thinking. That means the majority of posters here have only watched youtube clips or some replays of Bird, Olajuwon, Jordan, Magic, etc

Explains alot

Yeah, I was gonna say we should probably do the median age instead. Otherwise he'd skew the results.

I'd imagine 20-25

It's clear the young high schoolers and college studs are LeBron enthusiasts and the older crowd who grew up watching Jordan dominate side with MJ as the GOAT

agreed. And all the "big man" love of 90s centers would all have 9 titles if only they got to play in this era

I'm 26 but MJ is the GOAT and it's not even close.

Yes. the younger crowd has tunnel vision, unless 5 year olds were scouting MJ back in the day

Reminds me of the tunnel vision displayed by the "older" posters who say that MJ never disappeared or played poorly in a finals game.

Not blaming your parents for not fricking sooner. Maybe fricking at all with a few of you, but just putting things into perspective really

I'm 33.

I think MJ v. LBJ is a really close call. LBJ can do things on the court that MJ couldn't, but MJ's fire and competitiveness is something that Lebron will never have. I give the nod to MJ, with his diabolical competitiveness being the deciding factor.

I think people get confused and don't realize that you can give the nod to one guy or the other without completely shitting all over the other guy to get there.

So when someone makes a stupid arse comment about how David Stern made sure MJ got all the calls, I tell them that they're dumb and I might also tell them that their mother is a common road whore.

And when somebody says LBJ is a choker, I promptly remind them of how stupid they are, and of how much of a dirty slut their mother was, and still is.

I'm 38 myself, and pretty much this all around. I'd put MJ ahead to this point for sure, but in 6-7 years that could be a different story, it's very close.
