What do you guys think about Brian Kenny's idea about Bullpenning?

IIRC his idea is that teams should just go with their bullpen from the start of the game and have guys pitch about 2 innings each and have them throw "heat" in short spurts. He says that the only reason it hasn't is because of the tradition of having a starting pitcher and that players would scoff at the notion.

Wouldn't you rather Kershaw pitch 2 innings and sometimes less everyday than have him go 7 innings and not pitch for 5 days?

If you have an ace you should use them as they do now. But for your 3-5th guys, you'd be better off platooning them perhaps.

You can't throw two innings a day.

So are we going to expand the roster to fit all of the extra pitchers? Or will most teams stay at 12/13 pitchers and try to use them all?
If I keep 13 pitchers I'm expecting each to throw 112 innings a year.

The same guy that bitches about pace of game thinks this is a good idea? Bullpen pitchers bog down the hell out of the game.
