Only thing I can think is Barbe had already beat WM and they threw their 3rd or 4th guy, saving their aces for tougher teams in the tournament. Still a number you never see against Barbe.

I didn't go, nephew I was going to take had BP and a project. They might've thrown their ace. Just seems like with that score that they saved their top guys for later in the weekend. They did already beat WM 6-2 at Barbe.

I do know Barbe has been throwing a lot of their young guys to get them innings so they will be ready when they need them in district. A few of them had control issues the other night when they lost to Beaumont Westbrook by similar score. Did WM throw their ace? From the score Barbe's bats were pretty quiet. I wouldn't want to be Dutchtown today, Glen will probably look to make a statement.

I don't know and truth be told I don't know a whole lot about this WM team. They lost a ton of talent last year so there are a lot of new faces. Their pitching is suspect at best at this point in the season. Maybe this win against Barbe will light a fire and they can ride the momentum.

No WM didnt throw their ace. They threw probably their third best pitcher. Their ace Andrew Bryan is starting against Neville tonight at Neville.

This years WM team has been really weird. They have the ability to beat anyone in the state and showed it last night, but then they just give up some games like Lutcher/St. Amant both games they should have won if not for a couple of errors.

This years team hasnt started great but as long as the win when district gets here thats all that matters.

Central of Baton Rouge beat them 7-3 when Barbe was ranked #1, I know not as big of margin, but Barbe pitched there stud in that game
