Indiana ended regular season 25th nationally in defensive yards per play. Rank last 5 years: 112, 91, 117, 97, 109

Tom Allen is about to be a hot name as a DC somewhere.

I thought he was crazy to leave USF for IU. He's a damn good coach

That is really huge.
Thanks for flagging that. Something to keep an eye on.
Defensive yards per play means a lot more than total yards per game, in my opinion.

The quiet resurrection of a respectable Indiana program under Kevin Wilson is interesting. Indiana has been garbage-horrible for a long time, and has had very infrequent bouts with mediocrity-- in many ways, they displaced Northwestern as the garbage team of the B10, after Northwestern became respectable.
They've not been able to win many 'breakthrough' type games yet, but they have dealt with a lot of stuff to get to this point. That may be one of the hardest coaching gigs in the country.

That should be classified as a miracle.

Glad to see a Tar Heel alum do well. He was a GA when I was there and seemed like a good guy.

Indiana was this year what Arkansas was the last two years -- better than their record, and no one looked forward to playing them.

Indiana played a bunch of shite offenses I think
