Its a washout here boys. steady drizzle all night and course is soaked. still drizzling and temp below 50. Hopefully I'll get some playable weather this week as I have the whole week off.

I'm thinking about a scotty cameron sometime in the next couple of months. I've found a new putting key the past three weeks that has me rolling it better than I ever have. it has everything to do with posture and giving my shoulders more room to make that true pendulum motion. stick my butt out more and bend a little more at the waist and arms just hang and swing back and forth freely. I'm rolling it so well now. when I miss its because of a mis read. I made about 6 putts from outside 8 feet in my last round and was close on others.

It's nickname is The Money Maka'.
It's awesome. I used to like mallet style, and then I got this little Nitro stick.
It's personally responsible for birdies on 3, 6, and 12 last week at La Tour.

looks nice but I will stick with Mallet. I use a straight back and straight through stroke method and mallets are best designed for that

nah. our proshop don't have a lot of demo clubs. maybe one scotty from 4 years ago or some such. Right now the ™ ghost is actually rolling pretty well with the new posture…I'll have to weigh the options if I get to putt with a Scotty and see if it feels better

I used to think it was a douchey club, like kids with flat bills and white belts. But these Scotty's have beamed me up to the light.
I love snaggin it and strutting up to the green like a peacock in full ploom. Nerds see it and start sniffling. Then they see the eviscerating stroke to the hole and the ball drop.
They either A) Cry a lot or B) poop a little.

I smell what your stepping in. I"m definitely going to test a scotty out in the next few weeks. the full swing is starting to lock in now so I'm turning more focus back to the short game so Spring of Smash 15' stays on schedule. this crappy rainy weather the past two weeks has sucked.

I'm really optimistic about this coming spring. the improvements I have implemented the past 6 weeks have given me hope. I'm spending more intentional time practicing not just banging balls. Slowing things down a bit when I play instead of rushing too much. Back to basics.
