The thing is, we should have taken the Cup last time. They had an inordinate amount of good luck and us choking on it the last day. We can win.

The Euros are a better team, plain and simple. But it's a sporting event, and especially in a sport like golf, where great players can be average for a weekend, and average players can become great (see Billy Ho). We've got a puncher's chance.

That's the truth. I have no faith in Webb and Mahan, but they'll probably both light up the euros now and make Watson look like a genius.
