Call me a homer, but UGA +6.5 looks real good

I never bet on Georgia though so tell me why I'm wrong

Georgia-ND is a no play for me. Young QB on the road against a revamped defense. Too many live underdogs this week.

ya, id love to hear the UGA angle for this game besides the herp derp SEC jargon - other than Bama the SEC has been very very beatable lately.

ND leads the nation in rushing, the games at home, the game is at night, UGA hasnt played a game above the Mason Dixon line since 1965, ND outplayed temple moreso than UGA outplayed Appy St (Temple is better than Appy), True FR QB, NDs defense struggles more against the pass than the run, etc

Arkansas state ran up and down on them the whole night.... no chance they cover. Oregon will put 51 on them and Jesuit's favorite son will throw 3 interceptions.

Whether Colorado is above the mason Dixon line or not can be another thread but you cannot actually believe that this is a factor, can you? There's no fricking way anyone is that dumb.

I'll dispute some other points as well, I guess...

quote:

ND leads the nation in rushing

No they don't. But anyways, it's been one game. UGA has the best front 7 Notre dame will play this year....by far. This is the absolute strength of our team. Not to mention our rushing attack is better than yours as well. Trust me, not the part of the game that UGA is worried about.

quote:

the games at home, the game is at night

And you get a couple points for that.

quote:

ND outplayed temple moreso than UGA outplayed Appy St

This is utterly subjective. Georgia cruised as well and only gave up points from a third string quarterbacks mistakes well after the game was over. Both teams covered easily.

True freshman quarterback is not ideal, but the goal is for the defense and running game to win the thing and for Fromm to manage it. Georgia, a more talented team, getting 6.5 points here brings a lot to like to the table.
