Well NOW the Wave likely has to win the CUSA tournament. Getting mercy ruled by one of the worst teams in the nation in a must win game?

This will likely be the 4th straight season where Tulane doesn't make a regional

I disagree, today loss hurt, but Tulane has won 8 of their last 9, before today.

Finished tied for 3rd in CUSA, won the series against the other 2 teams (USM & Memphis) & had more wins then both. CUSA will get 3 teams & Tulane is the 3rd.

Sorry man but if CUSA gets 3 teams in then it's Rice, UCF, and ECU. Tulane may have won 8 of their last 10 but that's bc of the schedule they played. They finished the season with teams that were all 90 or worse in the RPI.
Tulane's resume is pretty poor. #58 in the RPI. SOS of 153!! 4-10 vs the RPI top 50. And what is really killing Tulane is that they played 29 of their 55 games against teams with a RPI of 100 or worse. And they have 7 losses vs teams that are 100 or worse in the RPI, including 2 losses to teams ranked 200 or worse.
Gotta AT LEAST make the CUSA title game but probably have to win the tourney.

Agree 100%. Sebaseball's latest projections have Tulane in the 'first ten out' category. They likely need to get to the CUSA title game to make it.
