No. If this is based off of Hartline's response to the situation, I think he's just speaking off of emotion from losing a solid part of the offense for the season

To me, it was just a football play, freak accident, could happen to anyone at anytime. Sadly, it's a career changer for Keller, but maybe he can get back stronger and hit the field, even though I doubt it will be for us.

So your saying he woulda hit him high had the rules not been in place? Even with the size difference?

No. I'm just saying given the rules today, the hit he delivered was even more legal.

I blame the ridiculous rule changes forcing players to tackle low or be fined.

That's a cop out. Defender was afraid to go high on a large body. Fact.

That was dirty dirty dirty. Also very much a pussy move. If you're not willing to hit a man belt high go find another fricking job. This hit was way worse than what Bostic did and he got fined.

Worst part is his contract. People seem to think that with all three of his knee injuries, it could be potentially career ending. Yikes!

At least he'll have 4.5 mil to tie him over. Hopefully he'll be back - I'm a fan of his even though they played my Texans.

As someone who tore an ACL 3 times, I say it's a fine hit.

Lolwut? A DB trying to tying a TE by going low..just unheard of! And that Bostic hit is a topic for another conversation, that hit was grade A textbook.

On what freakin planet? He dove HEADFIRST below his
knee. Good God, if it's "textbook" then I'm assuming you
know coaches that teach kids to tackle that way. So I'm
assuming the kids do tackling drills with this technique.
Right? After all it is "textbook" If not,why not?

Never once did any coach I ever had teach me to dive headfirst below someones's knee. A differnce between
hitting someone low and that tackle.

I was clearly stating that Bostic's hit was "textbook". You must have the reading comprehension of a seven year old.
