Why pick the worst drafting franchise as the basis?

Because the tax breaks in Ohio were better than NY.
It was supposed to be The Bills

If that movie is good at all, then they did an amazing job.

It should be terrible.

It's not a good movie from a cinematic perspective. That said, if you ignore the Hollywood drama, you should at least get a few laughs.

I think we can all agree that he hasn't done a decent movie (Mr. Brooks was OK) in 10 years. Do you really see a preview for a new Kevin Costner movie and think "Can't miss that one."

I saw it. At the end hes in position to win the draft and he missed on his pick. So he kept demanding his assistant give him another pick even when people couldn't billieve what he was doing. At some point his love interest just starts doing a weird laugh that seems really forced and on his last pick he nailed it and the draft room went crazy.
That night his love interest says no one will remember who won the draft but they will always remember that pick. And since he nailed that pick he is now qualified for the us open and cna go on tour

So will this go like real life? They draft a bust, sell off whatever talent they have left, and then back to square one?

i don't pay close attention to the draft bc you have to wait till three years later to know whether you "won" or not

Sorry I made you so emotional.
Maybe terrible was harsh. I'll go with decent instead.
