WAFB's Sportsline Friday Night Tributes TV spots

Anyone else tired of these TV spots? Where they have former local high school "stars" basically telling short "glory days" stories? I enjoy SLFN but these spots are pretty cheesy and I also don't get that, if you're going to do it, why not wait until the 25th anniversary? Why do them for the 23rd year?
