Votto: .322/.505/.593 - 1.098 OPS

You can only do so much with what you're given.

Votto has .504 OBP since the All Star Break. Insane, well, unless you're Barry Lamar Bonds

20 straight games of reaching base at least twice with 3 walks tonight.

0 for 1 with 3 walks. classic votto

i was wrong earlier when i said bonds had the all time record at 20. ted williams has it at 21. so votto will have the record by like 5pm EST on Thursday.

This is three straight years of Votto being absolutely insane after the break. His stats for the past 3 years in games after the break: 774 PAs .376/.512/.622

I think he gets bored with the Reds being out of contention and just decides to be an all-time great instead.

Jeff Sullivan has the best Tweet about it.

"I love that point in the year where God decides he wants to play some baseball without anyone noticing and assumes the form of Joey Votto"

I would put him 2nd.

Top 5 hitters imo
1. Trout
2. Votto
3. Altuve
4. Freeman
5. Murphy

I would definitely have Goldschmidt somewhere in the Top 5, if not Top 3.
