Tbird, my guess is that because of the Spurs success, you can pretty much say whatever you want without being criticized. I'm just sitting here reading fake quotes that are nothing like the things I do say.
I do appreciate the people who take notice of my contributions to this board though. At the end of the day, I know more about some of these teams than their own "fans" will when they finally show up for the playoffs to talk shite.

Yeah but you have to say something absurd or blatantly ridiculous to be a homer. I think the most absurd things I have said about the hawks all year is that kyle korver is an all star and that we are the best team in the league and well....

Hawks aren't in my Top 4 to win an NBA Championship, and if you aren't a star, you aren't an all-star. Kyle Korver. Best role player in the NBA.

Yeah I don't think they will win it all either. I don't think any one particular team has an edge over the field at this point. Hawks and cavs have huge advantages, though, since they are basically a lock to battle in the ECF IMO.
As for the korver all star thing, only one player on the east team out scored him and they will be going head to head in May (and tonight)
To rondo, they can't be considered absurd when they are both true. Oh my god I'm such a homer, I think the team with the best record in the nba after 60 games is the best team. What an idiot I must be. And again, they probably won't win it all, but if you are a warriors, grizzlies, hawks, cavs, (maybe a few others) fan, why would you not think your team is the best?

I'm arguing that he wasn't deserving. That can be argued. If he played in the West, he would not have been one. Because of injuries and the East being a shitty conference some players who are not all-star caliber snuck into the game with the real all-stars. It's a shame, but it happens.
